Hi-Nella Fire Company Installs 2008 Officers
On Saturday, March 1, the Hi-Nella Fire Company held its annual dinner to install its fire and executive officers for 2008. Congratulations to the members installed in the following positions:
Chiefs Award Recipients for service and dedication during 2007: Captain John Schaeffer Firefighter David Dodds Firefighter Tom Whittaker Captain Nick Cunningham (Attendance Award for highest attendance of calls and drills)
We would also like to congratulate Rob Cunningham on his 10 year service award and Fred Fulton on his 35 year service award. Marcellina Del Campo received an appreciation award for her exemplary fund raising efforts. Santa Claus, also known to us as Mark Chierici, was awarded an honorary membership in the fire company for his numerous years of service to the borough and department as our Santa.
Never Forgotten are those who have served the company in the past, as we remembered past president Jack Gallagher, who passed away in 2007. Also, never let us forget our men and women serving our country overseas, as one of our members is currently fighting with the US Army in Iraq, Mike Del Campo.
